I say......"To Be!"

Kids split up and wander around, are killed with blunt objects and sharp thingies by a masked man, until only one final girl remains. The end.

Now, where's jriddle? emoticon

A few of the posters here have expressed some interest in this so I will go ahead and throw it out there. For the month of July we will have Challenge of the Apes!

War For the Planet of the Apes is set to open July 14th so I thought it would be fun to immerse myself and others in monkey madness. Here's how this challenge will work:

What counts?
Any movies or TV shows or shorts with an ape or monkey as the protagonist, antagonist or major supporting character. EDIT:... Continue »

Convinced that her father's death was not accidental, a beautiful girl decides to investigate to find out the truth, aided by her boyfriend. Her sleuthing draws her to a local mortuary, where many secrets will be revealed.

Anyone seen it? Bill Paxton is in it. It sounds pretty good

Who here is a prime member? If so, how do you like it?

I've been a member for almost 3 years now and I love it. For $90 a year, you can't complain too much about getting free two day shipping on a lot of items. Also, they have some good movie and TV content that's Prime exclusive, especially the original Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack. Prime Day is July 11th, I just hope I don't forget about it like I did last year.

Has anyone seen this ? I binged watched the first 3 episodes a while ago and from what i can tell it's a terrific show.

Hey! Sorry, I haven't been here for a long time.. So, I've recenly seen Carnage Park (2016) and it's not that bad.

It's a indie crime/horror film about the sniper and the girl trying to escape, or kill him. I really liked it a lot! It has excellent editing, brilliant cinematography, nice story, good performances. The Last Exorcism's Ashley Bell is supposed to be annoying from it, but I actually think she gave a superb performance. While the first hour was entertaining, but I didn't rea... Continue »

It's about that time again. Take all the time you need, but I need to know. If you were forced into a human centipede, and had to be #2, but were given the option to pick anyone you wanted for the #1 and #3 slots, regardless of the reason, who's it gonna to be this time?

It is basically a paranormal anthology television series that depicts eyewitness accounts of possession, exorcism, and ghostly encounters. It features narrations, interviews, and re-enactments based on real accounts of paranormal experiences.

The show has been going for nearly ten years. An hour of television that never fails to entertain. Some episodes are fairly creepy.

Anyone seen A Haunting? Are you a fan?

This is how I approach it...

How about you?

List some of your favorite witch movies. I'm not talking sexy CW witches, like "Charmed" or some other bullshit. I'm talking real witches. I feel there aren't a whole lot of movies about witches themselves. None that are good, anyway. If it's a witch movie, the witch is usually barely in it, like Suspiria, and Rosemary's Baby.

Movies with witchcraft, or witches, or the like:

Sleepy Hollow (1999) - A supernatural Buton/Depp tale, back when they were making cool movi... Continue »

Who here's excited for the new season premiering in May? Also, who's been re-watching the series? I just finished re-watching season 1 and have been sucked back into the mystery and intrigue once again. It's one of the best shows ever and easily some of Lynch's best work period. Great cast, memorable oddball characters, and Lynch captures both the beauty and the dark underbelly of small town America perfectly.

And Deputy Andy Brennan is the most likeable dumb cop in history!

So excluding stuff like The Shawshank Redemption (1994), The Green Mile (1999) and
Stand by Me (1986). Just strictly horror. I found it difficult to restrict it to just five but here is what makes my top five:

Storm of the Century (1999 Mini-Series)
Pet Sematary (1989)
The Dark Half (1993)
The Shining (1980)
It (1990 Mini-Series)

There were a lot that missed the cut for me, especially The Dead Zone (1983) but it can't be helped. What sbout you? What are your Top 5 Stephen King horror... Continue »

I'm not talking about your 5 minute free brazzres clips on pornhub, but full blown story line included feature length pornos. I've never watched a story based porno so I'm interested to see what everyone likes.

Netflix has it, and it's interesting retro poster art, so why not? Yes siree, that is Barbara Crampton in the tv, and that's all you'll see of her. In a tv. As one of our protagonists points out, she's smokin' hot. Still, even at her age, and that's only judging by her face!

So pretty much nothing happens for the first half of this movie... but once they start playing the game, it does get much more interesting. Weird quests to find keys, whilst inadvertantly getting people killed/poss... Continue »

inspired by Johan's post about actors who make a movie worth watching, thought i'd throw this out there.

started by Strong when he was a guest on Kermode & Mayo's Film Review show a few years ago, he was talking about the increase in actors asking for the 'and' or 'with' credit on film titles, and suggested there should be a 'but'. Where a film whose cast contains actors whose performance is usually of a high calibre, but that also has an actor whose output is usually of a lower quality.... Continue »

The Backstory: At one time, Professional Wrestling in America was thriving. Not only did it thrive, but all the many successful promotions actually co-existed in harmony. Territories, they called them. These territories were all under the same banner. The NWA (National Wrestling Alliance), which was a group of promoters, who were all under a handshake agreement. Basically, that agreement was to not fuck with each other. Mainly, don'... Continue »

I remember the days when TV show intros were more than they are now. They could be cool, or just plain goofy (I always thought the ones that had people pose with huge grins were goofy). Some of them had pretty catchy theme songs. I thought it would be fun for us to post our favorites, the weirdest ones we can find, or the ones you think were the best. Maybe a way to remember what we watched as kids. Here are two of my favorites.

The title says it all. What are your interests and hobbies?

Obviously, besides movies, I am really interested in astronomy. I got interested in astronomy six years ago after I seen The Fountain (2006) and The Universe (TV series). I realized that there is so much to look at. I went and bought a Celestron Reflector Telescope with a large aperture (It was quite expensive when I bought it at the time) that allows me to see the planets and moons in this solar system and it also allo... I'm sitting here, getting high and trying to think about stuff, and it gets me to the topic of life, and general sense of happiness. Are you a happy person? Could your life be better? Are your romantic endeavors fulfilled, or lacking?

I'd say I'm pretty happy. I'm not romantically engaged, nor have I ever been. Who needs the hassle? Of course, I'd take it if it came to me, but I have otherwise zero interest in pursing it. Financially, I make probably a dollar over minimum wage, but fuck it. I... Continue »

https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-insOr7JWk-g/Tr25RCmFcYI/AAAAAAAAcJY/YYzpOO-6jxM/s1600/PDVD_029.BMP Haunted house movies can be extremely creepy and atmospheric when done right, the tension builds and builds, they grab you and don't let you go. They need to be precisely and brilliantly choreographed. They can also be a hell of a lot of fun. Don't Go to Sleep has all this in abundance. This lesser known TV horror classic made such an impression on me that still remember it as if I watching it ri... Continue »

This is hard, I really all of Argento's Giallos. Tenebre is my Favorite Argento Giallo but I think Sergio Martino is great as well. I love Torso and Your Vice is a Locked Room

I am going to say Your Vice, Edwige is smoking hot and the Black Cat references are great.

Every bad ass has a place they call home. Here are some of my favourites;

Nosferatu โ€“ That grand gothic castle on the rocky cliff with minimalist taste in decor in the vast curved concrete walled rooms and stairwells that perfectly distort his shadow. Not exactly what Iโ€™d call homely.

Alien Queen โ€“ youโ€™re walking through the vast corridors of a stark man made facility with monochrome hard angles and it gradually morphs into a more organic moulded structure that dece... Continue »
