There they were on Prime, so I gave it a go. I had watched a season or two of the old Bixby/Ferrigno show and quite enjoyed it. For some dastardly reason, I never finished, but I figure I wasn't missing much. Every episode has the same structure: David Banner has a random job elsewhere, meets someone, finds out they have a problem with someone, said someone pisses him off, and hulk smashes the problem. A couple of witches do some bad magic and raise the spirit of a psychotic murderer.I had no idea what this movie was going to be about. It's been a while since I actually had a movie I was looking forward to seeing. I was obsessed with the 1995 movie when I was a kid. I had the games, the action figures, clothing, sticker books... then MK Annihilation came out and I lost all my faith in something I once loved... Back in 2018, I headed out to Cali to attempt to hike the 2650 mile long PCT. I got to about mile 580 before I had to come back for family reasons.
Had a blast, met people from all over the world, got up close and personal with a rattlesnake. Plus, unfortunately, was present when another hiker died.

A simple misunderstanding causes Batman to kick Superman's ass.
Nowhere near as good as I was hoping it would be. Ben Affleck is not a very good Batman. Maybe around George Clooney or Val Kilmer status.

I put this on for my nephew since it was a childhood favorite of mine. I had the VHS and watched it a bunch, but I hadn't seen it for years since then. Surprisingly, it's still pretty entertaining. It has one hell of a cast, too. I guess that's to be expected from a Joe Dante movie, especially one where Dick Miller plays Walter Paisley. The CGI isn't terrible either. Good stuff.

Not just saying you want to, but you actually wanted to kill someone? Generally, I'm apathetic as can be, but when stressed out, I get severely bent out of shape. He used to be the sexiest man alive. Now he looks fucking stupid.

Pretty fresh off of Night of the Living Dead, Romero was still tackling the infection and mass hysteria angle. The Crazies was the bridge from Night to Dawn and it has a great premise. This movie popularized the hazmat/military type of villains you'll see in some shitty Italian flicks later as they try to stop the menacing Trixie virus. This thing really drives people... crazy.

I never held this in a very high regard among Tarantino's filmography, but if I'm baked enough, I'll like anything. This movie is gold.

Sure, Grindhouse was the double feature they put out, but Tarantino's half of it was a double feature in itself. A police psychologist leaves her position on the force after a hostage negotiation goes south, and ends up an unwitting participant in a time travel experiment.
Pretty good movie, all things considered. I liked how every time she went back in time to fix what went wrong, she ended up making things a LOT worse. Pretty violent film.

Three friends on a hiking trip end up in a house that likes to make duplicates of people who enter the house, but they are superior to the originals.
While watching this film, most of the time I was thinking "What the hell is going on here?"
About halfway through they explain what the hell was going on. It still didn't really make a lot of sense, but at least they tried.

A family moves into a house that has a dark secret.
Kind of interesting film. The basic story isn't anything too original. I did like how after the story seemed to be resolved, the horror really began.
Alexandra Paul did a good job with her part.
For the most part, however, there isn't enough to make it really stand out. Just enough to keep your interest. Well, maybe not yours, but it did mine.

These may come across as unconventional sentiments out of me, especially after a month of binging trash, but fuck it. Some Kind of Wonderful really is Some Kind of Wonderful.

It's a John Hughes written/produced movie about high school and the prospects of life beyond. It has a strong message about class that probably influenced me more than I realized.

A woman is haunted by a goddamned recliner. Think of it like a slasher where the killer is a chair. Nobody ever suspects the chair.

More competent than one might expect, downplaying the stupidity and focusing on a slow burn approach that's mildly effective.

I first heard of this as a 2019 movie, but apparently it's a 2014 movie that was on hold for 5 years. This movie was mildly entertaining. It's a total F13 and Hatchet knockoff about an old killer who is revived by supernatural means to go on a killing spree, targeting a group of dumb teens at a cabin in the woods.
