This thread is dedicated to my delusional, far left Facebook friend, Kevin Vanhentenryck, and his intense hatred towards our President, as well as his constant hypocrisy and spreading of obvious lies in an attempt to convince anyone who will listen that right ALWAYS = wrong. The amount of memes this guy posts, and his apparent quest to change the world through Facebook, makes me laugh. So, I'm going to share just a small fraction of it on this thread. If you don't find it funny, and if you even agree with this fuckhead, you are still 100% welcomed on Trash Epics. If this thread is what's stopping you from posting here, you should consider growing the fuck up. It's not a big deal.

I didn't write this. Wish I did. I found this rant to all Trump haters someone made in the Liberal Loon group on FB, and thought I'd share...

Remember this in November!!!!

To all the people who let this election break up families and friends let this sink in I think the last civil conversations we had occurred just days before November 8, 2016. You were supremely confident Hillary Clinton would win the presidential election; you voted for her with glee. As a lifelong Libertarian, I bit down hard and cast my vote for Donald Trump. Then the unimaginable happened. He won.
And you lost your freaking minds.

I knew you would take the loss hardโ€”and personallyโ€”since all of you were super jacked-up to elect the first woman president. But I did not imagine you would become totally deranged, attacking anyone who voted for Trump or supported his presidency as a racist, sexist, misogynistic, homophobic Nazi-sympathizer.

The weirdness started on social media late on Election Night, as it became clear Hillary was going to lose. A few of you actually admitted that you were cradling your sleeping children, weeping, wondering what to tell your kindergartner the next morning about Trumpโ€™s victory. It continued over the next several days. Some of you seriously expressed fear about modern-day concentration camps. Despite living a privileged lifestyle, you were suddenly a casualty of the white patriarchy. Your daughters were future victims; your sons were predators-in-waiting. You threatened to leave Facebook because you could no longer enjoy the family photos or vacation posts from people who, once friends, became Literal Hitlers to you on November 8 because they voted for Donald Trump.

I admit I was a little hurt at first. The attacks against us Trump voters were so personal and so vicious that I did not think it could be sustained. I thought maybe you would regain your sanity after some turkey and egg nog.

But you did not. You got worse. And I went from sad to angry to where I am today: Amused.
As the whole charade you have been suckered into over the last 18 months starts to fall apartโ€”that Trump would not survive his presidency; he would be betrayed by his own staff, family, and/or political party; he would destroy the Republican Party; he would be declared mentally ill and removed from office; he would be handcuffed and dragged out of the White House by Robert Mueller for โ€œcolludingโ€ with Russiaโ€”let me remind you what complete fools you have made of yourselves. Not to mention how youโ€™ve been fooled by the media, the Democratic Party, and your new heroes on the NeverTrump Right.

On November 9, you awoke from a self-induced, eight-year-long political coma to find that White House press secretaries shade the truth and top presidential advisors run political cover for their boss. You were shocked to discover that presidents exaggerate, even lie, on occasion. You became interested for the first time about the travel accommodations, office expenses, and lobbyist pals of administration officials. You started counting how many rounds of golf the president played. You suddenly thought it was fine to mock the first lady now that she wasnโ€™t Michelle Obama. Once you removed your pussy hat after attending the Womenโ€™s March, you made fun of Kellyanne Conwayโ€™s hair, Sarah Sandersโ€™ weight, Melania Trumpโ€™s shoes, Hope Hicksโ€™ death stare; you helped fuel a rumor started by a bottom-feeding author that U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley slept with Donald Trump. You thought it was A-OK that Betsy DeVos was nearly physically assaulted and routinely heckled. You glorified a woman who has sex on camera for a paycheck.

You have learned all kinds of new things that those of us who didnโ€™t willfully ignore politics for the past eight years already knew. For example, we already knew that illegal immigrants were being deported and families were being separated.

Some of your behavior has been kinda cute. It was endearing to watch you become experts on the Logan Act, the Hatch Act, the Second Amendment, the 25th Amendment, and the Emoluments Clause. You developed a new crush on Mitt Romney after calling him a โ€œsexistโ€ for having โ€œbinders full of women.โ€ You longed for a redux of the presidency of George W. Bush, a man you once wanted imprisoned for war crimes. Ditto for John McCain. You embraced people like Bill Kristol and David Frum without knowing anything about their histories of shotgunning the Iraq War.

Classified emails shared by Hillary Clinton? Who cares! Devin Nunes wanting to declassify crucial information of the public interest? Traitor!
But your newfound admiration and fealty to law enforcement really has been a fascinating transformation. Wasnโ€™t it just last fall that I saw you loudly supporting professional athletes who were protesting police brutality by kneeling during the national anthem? Remember how you fanboyed a mediocre quarterback for wearing socks that depicted cops as pigs?

But now you sound like paid spokesmen for the Fraternal Order of Police. You insist that any legitimate criticism of the misconduct and possibile criminality that occured at the Justice Department and FBI is an โ€œattack on law enforcement.โ€ While you once opposed the Patriot Act because it might have allowed the federal government to spy on terrorists who were using the local library to learn how to make suitcase bombs, you now fully support the unchecked power of a secret court to look into the phone calls, text messages and emails of an American citizen because he volunteered for the Trump campaign for a few months.
Spying on terrorists, circa 2002: Bad. Spying on Carter Page, circa 2017: The highest form of patriotism.

And that white, male patriarchy that you were convinced would strip away basic rights and silence any opposition after Trump won? That fear has apparently been washed away as you hang on every word uttered by James Comey, John Brennan, and James Clapper. This triumvirate is exhibit โ€œAโ€ of the old-boy network, and represents how the insularity, arrogance, and cover-your-tracks mentality of the white-male power structure still prevails. Yet, instead of rising up against it, you are buying their books, retweeting their Twitter rants and blasting anyone who dares to question their testicular authority. Your pussy hat must be very sad.

But your daily meltdowns about Trump-Russia election collusion have been the most entertaining to observe. After Robert Mueller was appointed as Special Counsel, you were absolutely convinced it would result in Trumpโ€™s arrest and/or impeachment. Some of you insisted that Trump wouldnโ€™t last beyond 2017. You quickly swallowed any chum tossed at you by the Trump-hating media on MSNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post about who was going down next, or who would flip on the president.

For the past year, I have watched you obsess over a rotating cast of characters: Paul Manafort, Donald Trump, Jr., Jared Kushner, Carter Page, Reince Priebus, Jeff Sessions, Michael Flynn, Steve Bannon, Sam Nunberg, and Hope Hicks are just a few of the people you thought would turn on Trump or hasten his political demise. But when those fantasies didnโ€™t come true, you turned to Michael Avenatti and Stormy Daniels for hope and inspiration. It will always be your low point. Well, I think it will be. Each time I believe youโ€™ve hit bottom, you come up with a new baseline. Perhaps defending the unprecedented use of federal power to spy on political foes then lie about it will the next nail in your credibility coffin.

The next several weeks will be tough for you. I think Americans will learn some very hard truths about what happened in the previous administration and how we purposely have been misled by powerful leaders and the news media. I wish I could see you as a victim here, but you are not. I know you are smart; you chose to support this insurgency with your eyes wide open.

It is not really addressed to "all Trump haters" because although his rant addresses them as "you", it doesn't take into account the Trump-haters around the rest of the world.. of which there are many and who dislike Trump for many different reasons that outlined here. The problem with many American Trump supporters is they don't see, or care, how the rest of the world views him, from an outside perspective. Yes of course we have Trump supporters here in the UK (Brexiteers mostly) and in other countries, but you can probably tell from the protests in London and Scotland that the majority of Brits don't think very highly of him.. is that your average American Trump supporter's problem? No, but many of them probably don't think or care about how Trump's divisive policities and views are affecting or impacting around the rest of the world. But if it's good for many Americans, if you are doing better in your lives as a result of his presidential tenure thus far, then who gives a fuck about some Paris Climate agreement or Iranian nuclear deal, the stability of the EU or insulting some Mayor of London, right..

On a personal note, despite the fact I am certainly no fan, I actually somewhat admire Trump's tenacity and balls.. especially when it came to trade with China (although that could be potentially disastrous for the world in the long term), getting a deal with North Korea (although it's still unclear exactly what the terms are) and on addressing NATO countries and their financial contributions to the U.S. However, I lost pretty much any smidgen of respect after the recent embarassing meeting with Putin and it's fallout.. the whole "wouldn't" rather than "would" fiasco is probably one of the most cringe-worthy moments in the history of politics.

And many of us "outsiders" don't for a minute believe much of the alleged "fake news" is all that fake: The BBC is generally very impartial/neutral in it's reporting, at least on foreign matters.

Oh and also, I'm not going to delete you from FB emoticon. Metal and movies > Political views.

I can't say I've ever considered how anyone outside this country views any American President. I was shocked to learn there were people in Europe and Australia who were outraged by the idea of a wall being built to take control of Mexican illegals flooding in and destroying the economy, even going so far as to protest, LoL. But this country has been a little too preoccupied with what other countries think as it is. More so than with what a large portion of our own thinks. We should always come first with us just like you all should come first with yourselves. That's common sense, imo.

Our left is only concernd with what how outsiders view us. As long as everyone else approves, it doesn't really matter how we're doing. That attitude is the one and only reason Trump was needed to begin with. Anyone who disagrees with these people are labeled "racist" or "bigot" because I guess that's the easiest, quickest terms to put it in, and a good way to discredit someone before they can even give their argument. so, no debate is ever necessary (in their minds), because it's not like CNN ever fully explains to them what the big deal is. They just KNOW women, homos, blacks and LEGAL immigrants are now worse off. No reason is ever given. Just yelling, screaming, rioting and shunning. We're putting ourselves first for the first time in a long time and actually reaping the benefits.

Something, anything good happens, Liberal media ignores it and talks about something bad. That something bad isn't even usually true or atleast far from the whole story. Obviously desgined to be a distraction that is mostly dependant on people who don't follow politics very closely. Well, I don't really follow what's going on over there but I know you got your problems just like we got ours, but is it possible certain problems are being pinned on Trump and people are just taking the mainstream media's word for it simply cuz they're the MAINSTREAM media? Cuz that's a huge problem over here, too. I can't speak for BBC or whatever news you guys watch, but if it's anything like CNN, sorry, but there's gotta be some truth stretching going on. These guys are ridiculous. SO ridiculous, that there wouldn't be as many Trump supporters without them. It's so obvious they're liars and they get so carried away with it that people are willing to overlook whatever actual flaws Trump is guilty of, because "at least he's not as bad as CNN". They need to seriosuly quit while they're ahead or at least get better at lying.

There's also a lot of people on FB, Twitter, Youtube telling some very different stories and they're stuff is getting deleted, banned and swept under the rug at an alarming rate. All of this is conveniently labeled "hate speech". If they were all lying, then, I don't think there would be any need for that. Everyone thought Trump was in it for himself and his fellow Billionares. But Middle class getting stronger, happier and more confident, the popor becoming middle class, the rich getting angrier, celebrites pile on top with their constant, self-righteous Trump hate, using words like "Nazi" when referring to Trump and his supporters, encouraging violence and then claiming Trump has divided the country, Tech giants censoring those who doesn't fall into line with their way of thinking. Too much attempted damage control coming from too many powerful people for Trump to be what they're saying he is. The man isn't perfect, the man is capable of stretching the truth, but our sorry ass left is trying to turn this country into 1984-Land and they're trying (in vain) to pin it on the president.

And here's Kevin's latest bullshit. Implying that ANYONE who wants in the country is good and should be let in, and ANYONE who supports Trump, well... they just better think twice before trying to give their side of the story or they just might get banned and censored.

I can certainly see and have no doubt people like Kevin are exacerbating the divide by posting some of this stuff. Although to me, as an outsider, quite a bit of it might well be just fact dressed up as a meme but it is the way it is being put across that causes the issues here.. i.e. it's basically trolling. And trolling in this manner never got anyone anywhere. It just pisses people off and causes conflict instead of any rational debate.

You make some valid and interesting points. I can imagine how media can be so bias over there. It happens with our newspapers for sure but seldom on the national news channels like the BBC which is probably still the most impartial and most respected news channel in the world. And there are definitely similarities with what is happening in the UK and USA. Brexiteers here are labelled in the same way as Trump supporters over there.. just a bunch of racists and bigots. And yeah, much of the media doesn't help.. just adds fuel to the fire. I don't know where we are all headed. You're right though, we should be putting ourselves first and certainly in my case the future of my kids. I don't want them growing up in a country, or indeed a world, that is being sowed by division and hatred. Who wants that.. but unfortunately it isn't going to get better and for many people who do not have such extreme views, powerful figures like Trump are not helping matters. If the most powerful person on the planet is such a love him or hate him figure as Trump clearly is, then of course extreme divisons will continue and get worse. Whatever you think of Obama, this kind of division could never have occured in such a drastic fashion but that is what Trump did.. for better or for worse (inclined to go with the latter in some cases personally), he shook it all up. And then some. And that is what many people admired about him. And we are where we are..

Somewhat still on topic.. I just bought a book called "The Strange Death of Europe: Immigration, Identity, Islam".. apparently it pissed many liberals off but it should make for some interesting and compelling reading for those of us stuck somewhere in the "middle"..

What irks me the most is these self-righteous liberal types, who just automatically assume their opinion is fact and just disregard others opinions. These sorts think they are morally superior to everyone else. I hate that condescending crap. I give those people short shrift. They can't be direct, in fear of offending someone, so the end up saying the weirdest things.

We recently had, here Ireland, same-sex marriages and abortion referendums, and if you were to admit that you were voting no โ€“ then you would be called a โ€˜Naziโ€™ and the like for voting no. That is not right. It could be even considered a breach on the Freedom of Speech. You canโ€™t even make a joke because you have to watch what you say with them. When did people become so thin-skinned? God forbid, you call someone a โ€œfagโ€ or something!

I do admire Trumpโ€™s approach that America comes first. After all, charity begins at home, right? In Ireland, we are facing the consequences of the British leaving the E.U. We are digging are heals in over the border (Northern Ireland and the south), and we are right too. It is the British mess, why should we be worse off? We have had centuries of oppression from the Union. Anyway, I digress; I do understand why Trump is putting America first. He could even be considered a borderline genius โ€“ becoming a billionaire, to the Leader of the Free World. However, donโ€™t expect that to be contemplated by the liberals. We all got too comfortable under the Obama administration - I like to be comfortable too, but comfort can lull you into a dangerous tranquillity. If you're just operating by habit, then you're not really living.

A lot of these people are so convinced they're always right and you're always wrong because all of their political views can be found on tv, movies, all of entertanment, all of the time, and so little of the other side is allowed to make a peep. Liberal propoganda is everywhere to the point that it just comes off like it's all undisputed fact. It's easy to get confused about things, growing up, especially these days. But their conviction that they're so, so, so right about everything has led to a very "by any means necessary" mentality. at least over here. The tolerant left have become SO tolerant, they no longer tolerate anyone who doesn't tolerate absolutely everything, regardless of how stupid or dangerous it may be.
