I was just thinking, the next time they do a Carrie remake (you know it's just a matter of time) it would be pretty funny if they did the entire movie as straight horror, with absolutely no comedy at all, but then, when Carrie is at the height of her hypertelekinetic killing rampage, they had one male character turn to another (just any two male high school kids at the prom) and say "Bitches, man," with a totally straight face, and the character he says it to would nod solemnly. That would really crack me up, if they did it right.

No, it's really me. I'm sorry if that sounded bizarre, maybe I'm in a weird mood. It really is me, I don't know how to prove it though.

OK, I guess that's not too great if I called my own status as a decent guy here into question.

I was watching the 1976 Carrie, and something made me think of that scene in Warm Bodies where the Rob Corddry character says "Bitches, man" to the Nicholas Hoult character. I just thought it could be pretty funny as a line in Carrie, if you weren't expecting it at all and nothing had led you to expect any comedy.

Anyway, whatever. I didn't mean it in a misogynistic way, or anything like that. Just a passing thought.
