Is the only studio putting out good cinema these days imo. While not every film is perfect at least their releases are original and they take chances. I remember 1st seeing their logo at the beginning of Spring Breakers and Tusk. Just watched The Disaster Artist finally ( I know, late to the party) and y'all were right, great film. Any thoughts and favorites from A24?

My earliest memory of them was also Spring Breakers, which will forever cement them as a great company to me. They are surprisingly solid in most regards though.

A24 titles:

My faves include: Green Room, Disaster Artist, Florida Project, Hereditary, and Mid90s. 'X' was pretty good as the most recent one I know of.

Really liked Ex-Machina and Under the Skin along with your choices. Just watched Florida Project, thought it was good albeit a bit dark and depressing. Liked The Lighthouse and Killing of a Sacred Deer too.

There are plenty of A24 I still haven't seen, and you just listed several. Florida Project was great though. Willem Dafoe always shines, the main chick was fine. The director Sean Baker also did Starlet and Tangerine, which were also very good.

I've caught a couple of other decent releases by them. Slow West and First Cow were good not great Westerns. Mojave and A Most Violent Year were cool crime dramas. Mississippi Grind was a good road trip/gambling type film. These films are not great but I respect their Indy spirit like Artisan and Lionsgate we're before they were bought out. I guess I'm just tired of the major studios big blockbusters today. 90% of their releases are either sequels or remakes...tired of that crap already.
